STOP CYBERVIOLENCE is a motion design video created to raise awareness about cyberviolence in the workplace.

We developed a soft, textured visual style to approach the theme of cyberviolence with empathy and clarity. Inspired by a moodboard of muted tones, grainy gradients, and minimal characters, our direction blends analog warmth with digital symbolism.

STORYBOARD

The art style for the illustrations aims for soft, minimal, and emotionally driven

We used faceless, rounded characters to create universality and focus on body language and context. Warm gradients, textured shading, and symbolic elements help convey complex emotions and situations with subtlety and clarity.

This stylized, human-centered approach supports the narrative while maintaining a tone that’s approachable, empathetic, and visually distinct.

ANIMATION

We combined 2D animation with subtle 2.5D transitions to create a fluid, immersive flow. Parallax layers and depth shifts added space and tension, while maintaining a soft, cohesive look. Each transition was crafted to feel seamless and intentional, enhancing narrative clarity without overwhelming the viewer.

This approach allowed us to stay grounded in storytelling while enhancing immersion, making each scene feel connected, intentional, and alive.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Nelly put together a tutorial breaking down his process for animating the vines featured in the video. It’s a great peek into the techniques and thinking behind the scenes. We highly encourage you to check it out and follow his IG account for more animation marvels!
